Extreme close view of whipped sugar scrub, showing fine crystals suspended in soft butter and catching warm side light.

The texture

Whipped, never gritty.

Fine sugar folded through shea butter and coconut oil until it turns soft enough to spread. It polishes as you work it over damp skin, then dissolves under warm water instead of dragging.

The Sol ritual

Three steps, taken slowly.

The whole point is that it should not feel like a task.

  1. A hand lifting a heaped bamboo scoop of whipped sugar scrub from an open jar, with the wooden lid resting beside it.

    Scoop

Take a generous amount onto damp skin, away from the direct stream of the shower.

  2. A hand massaging whipped sugar scrub along a forearm in slow circles, resting on travertine in warm side light.

    Massage

Massage gently using slow circular motions, working from the ankles upward.

  3. A fine stream of warm water rinsing scrub from a forearm, the last sugar dissolving and droplets catching the light.

    Rinse

Rinse with warm water and reveal soft, smooth-feeling skin. Pat dry — no need to scrub the towel.

Recommended ritual: 1–2 times per week

The full ritual

Ingredients

Skin-loving by nature.

Few ingredients, chosen for your skin.

  • A glass jar of golden raw sugar spilling onto a travertine slab, with a cut length of sugar cane beside it and a palm shadow behind.

    Natural Sugar

Fine sugar crystals polish away dry, dull surface skin, then dissolve under warm water instead of dragging. It is the reason the scrub feels generous at first and soft by the end.

  • A thick swirl of ivory shea butter on travertine, beside a glass jar of shea nuts, lit softly with a palm shadow behind.

    Shea Butter

Whipped through every jar, shea butter is what keeps the skin feeling cushioned rather than stripped once the sugar has rinsed away.

  • A glass bottle of clear coconut oil and a spoonful of solid white coconut oil on travertine, with half a coconut behind.

    Coconut Oil

Coconut oil carries the scent of Sol de Coco and leaves a light, conditioned finish on the skin. It melts at body temperature, which is why the scrub softens the moment it touches you.

  • A glass bottle of green avocado oil pouring onto travertine, beside a halved avocado and eucalyptus leaves.

    Avocado Oil

A heavier oil than coconut, avocado gives the whip its richness and helps the finish last past the shower.

The Sol philosophy

Built around three ideas.

  1. Nourish

Skin-loving oils and butters, whipped through every jar.

  2. Polish

Sugar-based exfoliation for smoother, softer-feeling skin.

  3. Indulge

Textures and scents that turn the shower into a ritual.

Our story

Every jar, by hand.

Sol de Coco began with a simple idea: that body care should feel like a ritual rather than another step in a routine. Everything is whipped, filled and finished by hand, so every jar reaches you fresh.
